Garrett was born in the metropolis of Chicago but raised in Colorado. He grew up playing musical instruments and acting in theater, but figured out somewhere along the way that bringing characters to life with his voice brought him the most joy. That passion became a career in voice over, with credits including SMITE and Wasteland 3, along with more than 60 audiobooks on Audible for publishers such as Simon & Schuster and Hachette Audio. He has a special place in his heart for animation and video games, as the voices he heard growing up left a lasting impact on him. He now considers it his mission to leave that same kind of impact.
